I am passionate about education and have obtained a Master of Arts in teaching secondary science. I have been teaching for 3 years in a traditional classroom and also have experience as an outdoors educator. I think teaching works best when the teacher has time to get to know how the student learns and introduce them to concepts in a variety of ways. I am a certified science and middle school social studies teacher, but also have experience with math and reading.

I am a former professional athlete and current teacher, mentor, and coach passionate about helping students find the best possibilities for their future.

I am a college grad from National Louis University with a bachelor's in Applied Educational Studies with a minor in science and concentration in education. I am pursuing my certification for Early Childhood and Elementary Education in a post-baccalaureate program at National Louis University, which I will complete in December 2021.
