I am a retired school teacher, with over 40 years of experience teaching English, Spanish, and English as a Second Language at all levels from grade school to adult continuing education programs.

I am currently a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology, but I have been tutoring ever since I was in elementary school. I am a life long learner, a passionate educator, native speaker of English, bilingual in Spanish and always on the look out for my next new favorite book. My philosophy on learning is that it should be fun! Of course, I work hard with my students, but when we are having fun, I see the learning is effortless, endless, and the student success level in my classroom soars!

I am a current third grade dual language teacher and I absolutely adore teaching language. I am a native speaker of English and Spanish is my second language. Therefore, I can tutor literacy in either language and would be thrilled to help any student beginning to learn English or Spanish.
