I am a Lab Manager for two labs, one that analyzes stress hormones and adolescent development and the other explores how to have productive political conversations. I have recently been accepted into a Masters program. I have a B.A. in Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies, with minors in Linguistics and Educational Studies. I have lots of experience in working with all kinds of people and studying all sorts of topics.

I am not just interested in reading and writing in an academic sense. One of my favorite sources of analysis and pleasure comes from the story-telling of the nouveau Golden Era of television (Mad Men, Deadwood, Better Call Saul, et cetera), and also the story-telling of professional wrestling. I'm watching anime with the 9yr old, animation with the baby and Sci-Fi and Action movies with my husband. We also LOVE TO COOK! And our home is filled with every type of music you can imagine--even a little bit of country just no Polka.

I am teaching go a long way to imparting the true excitement of learning. I have mastered many fields and work to intersperse "real-world" examples into my teaching.

I am a recent graduate in Biochemistry and Africana studies from Knox College in Galesburg. I have about 3 years of tutoring experiences in biology as well as other subjects as well. I also love to paint and will be working on finishing a few pieces soon!
