I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and minor in Art. I am currently a student at the University of Illinois at Chicago working towards a Master in Medical Physiology. Since graduation, I have worked remotely for my lab that studies child development and applying to medical school. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about psychology and biology. My previous work experiences have included working as a teacher assistant at a preschool, a residential mentor at a high school academic summer program, and volunteering teaching science lessons in elementary and middle school classrooms.

I am an incoming freshman at Northwestern University, and I will be studying economics and international studies. I have lots of experience in mentoring students individually and teaching in the classroom through being a student intern for a sophomore honors English class. I love working with students who are preparing for tests or college admissions because it gives me an opportunity to impart my knowledge of the college application process to others and empathize with them on all their concerns. I believe that education and critical thinking are key to expanding your horizons and achieving your goals in life.

I am a sophomore at UIUC studying agricultural and biological engineering. Eventually, I hope to work on environmental engineering related projects concerning the improvement of ecosystem management and reducing the harmful effects of pollutants in the environment. As an aspiring engineer, my favorite subjects to teach students are math and science. I've been working with kids as a swim instructor and music teacher for the past six years now. As I've begun developing experience tutoring students, my favorite part about helping students learn math and science concepts is teaching them how these different concepts interconnect and later helping them to develop critical thinking skills to work through difficult material.

I am currently a student at the University of Michigan studying Data Science. I graduated High School with honors and was involved in a multitude of activities such as Science Olympiad, NHS, and other volunteering organizations. I have tutored in math in the past, and on this platform, I will be tutoring in Calculus, Geometry, and SAT Prep. I love to learn and I hope that my students will appreciate learning through my sessions as well. In my spare time at college, I enjoy cooking, I captain a Dance Team and am involved in a cultural organization.

I am a graduate of the University of Michigan, where I earned a degree in Biology. I have over eight years of experience teaching and tutoring middle school and high school students. I am an interdisciplinary educator with an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. My background is primarily in integrated arts learning and museum education and I specialize in visual arts, history and art history, and object-based learning. In all subjects, I take a creative, inquiry-based and learner-centered approach, designing opportunities for each unique individual to meet their learning goals.

I'm not tutoring or buried in my textbooks, you will either find me rock climbing at the Triangle Rock Club, playing Ultimate Frisbee, working on my car, or enjoying the great outdoors (beaches, mountains, forests--you name it, I love it). On rainy weekends I enjoy tinkering with computers and old electronics, playing Pokemon, or picking at my guitar.

I am a recent graduate from a masters program in biostatistics at Columbia University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences, with a focus in neurobiology at Northwestern University. In August, I will be starting a doctoral program in biostatistics at NYU. I was a teaching assistant at Columbia University in my department and also have tutored graduate students and undergraduates privately as well. My primary areas of tutoring are math and statistics coursework in addition to math sections on standardized tests such as the GRE and GMAT. I am very passionate about helping students feel more confident and excited about math. In my spare time, I enjoy running, playing piano, and spending time with friends and family.

I am a graduate of Wesleyan University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with High Honors. With eight years of experience working in education, I've tutored students in math, science, history, and English, as well as helped students prepare for standardized tests. I've guided adults towards passing the US Citizenship Exam and taught English in India, where I lived for six months. Whenever I work with a student I personalize the lessons to fit their particular learning style, since I know every student is unique and having the right fit can make all the difference in making learning fun and effective. My strengths are tutoring the social sciences and humanities, as well as making math and standardized tests approachable to students that normally don't like those subjects. In my spare time I like traveling, spending time in the outdoors (climbing & backpacking), meditation, and playing soccer. Next fall I will be beginning my PhD in Education at Harvard University.
