Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Tori in South Jordan, UT
On Monday, the student and I spent all of our time working on dimensional analysis. This is absolutely essential in Chemistry for converting between units (and eventually, dimensional analysis will be essential for working with chemical equations). I encouraged him to always think about "which is bigger" (i.e. yard>foot, kg>lb, cm>mm), as it slows him down to make sure he puts the conversion factor in correctly. We worked through a variety of problems, and especially with these problems, practice makes perfect.
