Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Jesse in Sandy, UT
This week the student and I did a 7-question test review regarding electromagnetism. The review was indeed very comprehensive. It covered forces on charged particles due to electric and magnetic fields, centripetal motion as a result of magnetism, and using the right hand rule, among other things. She had no problems understanding what we were doing and I am confident that she will do well on her coming test.

We went over normal distributions and how to use z-tables; the student had a very positive attitude as usual and was not discouraged by the difficulty of some of the problems. She is going to work on a few more problems that we did not have time for today and send them back to me for review either tonight or tomorrow.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Birju in Sandy, UT
We covered basic topics in chemistry that a student would learn in their first semester because she is preparing for the AP Chem test and took Chem I over a year ago. She needed help with early topics such as empirical and molecular formula. We worked through this by using the problem she provided and the online problems in order to reinforce ideas that she knew before. She is supposed to review her textbook over early topics in order to find new topics that she struggles with.

Physical Chemistry Tutoring review by Garrett in Sandy, UT
We covered two subjects heavily: rotational kinematics and electrostatics. The student needed help with those two areas, as his professor glossed over it in class without helping the students develop an understanding of the material. We focused on problem solving, application of formulas, and practicing different problems. I left him with several practice tests, as well as a resource to find additional problems if needed. He seemed happy with the progress made, and almost immediately developed an understanding of electrostatics.
