I'm Jana, and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Chemistry, with a minor in Statistics. I have over two years of experience tutoring, and have served as a peer tutor or teaching assistant in a variety of topics including statistics, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. As a tutor, I love to build meaningful relationships with my students that allow me to best tailor my methods and frameworks to their unique needs and learning styles. I hope to foster an appreciation for the material and for learning in all my students as I guide them through mastering challenging content. Something that is important to me is that my students not only learn the material, but also grow as a learner. As a peer tutor, I have taken on leadership positions and conduct trainings for future tutors in different learning styles and tutoring methods. Outside of tutoring, I am currently conducting chemical biology research and have also been involved in physical organic chemistry research.
