I am a student at the University of Utah majoring in Mathematics, and I am loving every minute of it. I plan to go Medical School, but I chose Math as my major because it has been a love of mine since elementary school. My favorite part of the week is when I volunteer at the Best Friends Animal Society, and during my free time, I like to read and hang out with my friends. During my time as a tutor, I have found that I love to teach and encourage students because it reminds me of the support that I have day to day as I follow my ambitions.

My passion is to teach. I am currently studying to be a High School English teacher. I have been a coach for five years. I believe that the skills I have acquired from coaching and my studies enable me to be the best possible tutor! Thank you very much.

I am also a registered yoga teacher and am currently working with over twenty Suzuki violin students. I have tutored a broad array of academic subjects, but my special favorites are English and literature. I really believe anyone can learn anything with step-by-step processes and a little motivation.

Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of teaching and being in contact with others. My passion is to teach and help people develop and strengthen their knowledge and language skills. Gratitude for teaching is the basis of all the values that exist in my teaching plan. I have taught children of various ages; I have had the opportunity to help and teach struggling students. In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing with my daughter, the good weather and a picnic with my family. I also like to do yoga to complete my day.

I am amazed at how physics describes the natural universe, and believe that ones love for life and existence could increase from studying the subject.

I started with basic homework help as part of peer tutoring groups in high school and progressed to being a volunteer tutor as part of the National French Honor Society in high school. I have tutored a variety of grade levels, subjects, and ages ranging from pre-school all the way up to college in subjects such as elementary math, trigonometry, French, history, and writing. I am patient, nurturing, and passionate about teaching and learning and know firsthand what it is like to struggle with a subject as I had to rely on tutors as well growing up. I'm a huge fan of visual aids and examining real-life examples and applications when teaching. I worked as a learning assistant in an astronomy lab course and as a tutor for student athletes in geology while attending CU. I've been honing the ability to craft perfect analogies to help you make sense of mathematical or physical concepts.
