Tutoring review by Johnita in West Alexandria, OH
The student had a math assignment that involved solving systems of equations, graphing systems of equations, and determining the number of solutions for a system of equations. I really think that the student is doing much better with basic algebraic process, in terms of solving for a variable. I think that she understands the material for this section quite well.

Tutoring review by Grayson in West Alexandria, OH
Today the student and I worked a lot on sight words and rhyming words. This is crucial for him to improve reading in first grade. I was also able to show his mom two games that involve sight words that she can play with him, instead of drilling him. I left him homework to review the 5 sight words he was struggling with the most. He still struggles with giving attention, but this is common in students his age. I try to counter this by changing activities often and have games set up to help balance learning and fun.

Tutoring review by Sara in West Alexandria, OH
The student had a good session. She figured out her math problems. She knew how to do them all on her own, so she breezed through them. We then worked on her Spanish homework. She had to read and respond to several questions in Spanish, which gave her a little trouble. We finished up the session with her social studies homework on the Articles of the Constitution. We finished everything up, so she will be prepared for tomorrow!
