I am a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I have been tutoring kids of all ages in both mathematics and reading since high school. My goal is to help students overcome their own challenges and insecurity with learning. While I have a countless amount of experience, my specialty is high school and college-level math and science and standardized exams, such as the SAT and ACT.

I have been a tutor for over three years and have worked with students ages 5-15. Patience, communication, and fun activities have helped my students and me pinpoint where they are struggling and improve their understanding of difficult math, reading, and science topics. I have been a student a majority of my life and can relate to the struggle of trying to grasp complicated material and asking for help only to receive answers that seemed to raise more questions than answers. I am 22 years old, and am a May 2022 alumnus of Case Western Reserve University with a BS degree in physics. I am currently working toward obtaining a PhD in physics. I attended Case Western Reserve University and received my Masters of Science in chemical engineering with a focus on battery research and electrochemistry. The subjects I tutor are mainly focused in the STEM field, and I love teaching students about science! I am a high school graduate currently attending Case Western Reserve University as a junior where I am double majoring in economics and physics. Although economics and physics are my majors, mathematics is my favourite subject. My name is Grant Whitmer, and I'm a current medical student with an interest in entering into academic medicine (infectious diseases).I received my B.S. in Biochemistry (minors in Chemistry, Economics), summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Case Western Reserve University, where I was also a founding father of my fraternity and performed research at the interface of physical chemistry and microbiology.
