I was never a straight A student, in fact, I struggled to get B's. It was never a problem with the content I was learning but the context in which that material was presented. After learning about the many different learning profiles that exist in the classroom I realized that students like myself were being left out to dry. I decided three years into my first college experience that I wanted to become an educator. Transferring to Wright State University and enrolling in their Teacher Preparation program is undoubtedly the best decision I have ever made. This upcoming fall I will be working in the Dayton Public School district to help students who, like myself, who struggle with "playing school."Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading science-fiction and taking hikes at the many metro parks in the South Dayton area. I occasionally work at a locally owned running store on the weekends and even do some coaching in the fall and spring. I have spent most of my life in Dayton but also moved around a lot as my father was in the military. I hope to move and teach in Philadelphia some day in the future but for now, my focus is on revitalizing the school system in Dayton.

Dominic Theodore graduated from Ohio university with B.A. in psychology. He then went on to earn an M.S. in anatomy from Wright State University and was president of his graduate class. He served as a tutor and teaching assistant throughout undergrad and graduate school, which he continues currently in medical school. He also worked as an adjunct professor at Ohio University in his gap year, during which he taught anatomy, intro biology, and physiology. He is currently a medical student (MS4) at Wright State University, after which he plans on matching internal medicine and ultimately completing a cardiology fellowship. So far in medical school, he has tutored other med students, was nominated for Outstanding 2nd Year Student, and dedicated much of his free time to volunteering and research. I am a graduate of Wright State University. I received my Bachelor of Integrated Language Arts and my Master of Education. Throughout much of my program, I have had many opportunities to tutor students from a variety of different backgrounds. I started teaching automotive technology at a vocational school in 2007. After five years. I did some work for one of the automotive manufacturers, as a service engineer. I have written and published a book entitled OBDII Diagnostics Made Easy and started a website dedicated to educating the automotive repair industry.

I went back to school for my more passionate interest and earned my Master's Degree in Microbiology and Immunology. I have recently retired from Procter and Gamble P&G where I served as a Research Scientist. Most of my career has been involved in synthetic chemistry pertaining to the pharmaceutical industry. Also at P&G, I worked in developing beauty care products for consumers around the world. I am student at Wright State University (WSU) in Dayton Ohio. I just finished up a Bachelor of Science in physics and graduated in September 2015.
