I am currently teaching high school with a certification in Special Education. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to be creative with my lessons. I also enjoy working one on one with the students to see what makes them click. My students have the ability to express themselves in different ways than they do in the classroom. I am Joni. I have taught and/or tutored math for about 30 years. I feel for all those who have such a hard time in math. Hopefully by working together we can make that hard time a little easier. I am a Biology BS and Biomedical Engineering BS candidate at Notre Dame College. Outside of school I am a resident assistant, a varsity soccer player, and member of the biology, chemistry, and philosophy clubs. Additionally I volunteer through a local nonprofit at various nursing homes, as well as coach 8-12 year olds at my previous soccer club, Cleveland United. My hobbies include playing soccer and playing the guitar. I am happy to help with Mathematics and Science related subjects!

I am currently studying to pass the state licensure exam to be certified as a Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist k-12. My experience includes private, group, and individualized tutoring. My preference is one on one tutoring because tutoring and mentoring go hand in hand. The goal is to make the subject material fun and, if possible, make it a game.
