I am a medical student who sees the world from the perspective of a teacher. I am not satisfied with my understanding of a topic until I feel confident that I can explain the material to another person. I am excited about the opportunities to continue my education so that I can spread my knowledge to the community.

I love working with students and helping them overcome their "mathphobia". It's easy to get lost in long processes, and I enjoy being able to help students understand those processes and build up their own confidence in math. I have been a math and special education teacher for high school and middle school students for the past four years.

I graduated in May 2021 from the University of Iowa College of Nursing, a top 10 nursing school in the country. I averaged a 4.0 throughout nursing school, and passed the NCLEX exam in July after 75 questions. In nursing school, I have experience helping with a study group focused on a verbal "talk thing through" method of understanding. I am interested in sharing my nursing knowledge with those who need it!
