Hello! My name is Umer. I am a student at the University of Illinois at Chicago majoring in Mathematics and Classical Studies (Double Major). I am also certified through Cambridge University's CELTA program to teach ESL/EFL students. I look forward to teaching ESL students in the near future. Right now, I am gaining experience for my long term goal of moving to Cairo, Egypt to teach.

I currently work as a Teaching Assistant at a public school in Chicago through the University of Chicago's Neighborhood School Program. I also volunteer with Maroon Tutor Match, a UChicago organization that matches low-income middle and high students with college tutors.
