I am driven by a desire to help people succeed because I believe that almost everything in this world comes down to how we were taught. It took me years to learn to swim. I got the stroke patterns down early but it wasn't until someone told me to exhale all the way through not just into the water but as my face is leaving the water that I really got it. The same applies to learning in school: one key idea or concept can make all the difference.

I am an incredibly dedicated tutor with years of experience and education to help students reach their academic goals. Beginning in high school, I tutored elementary through high school students in mathematics and the sciences. In college, I taught a weekly class to local high school students interested in learning about neuroscience. Since college, I have continued tutoring students on a weekly basis in a wide variety of subjects.

I'm currently a student at Columbia University studying Economics. Before I switched majors halfway thru my sophomore year, I was a pre-med student. I love still being a college student because all these classes are still fresh in my mind! I am really good at tutoring because I can break down the subject matter in a multitude of ways and explain it differently each time. Additionally, I am really good at helping students make connections between two seemingly unrelated topics. Lastly, I push students rather hard.
