Tutoring review by Jacqueline in Carlstadt, NJ
The student and I filled in his remaining notes for chapter eight, as he has a test on Wednesday. After finishing up the notes, he and I spent time reviewing all of the notes for the chapter. He is very confident in his understanding of meiosis versus mitosis as well as the process of cancer. It was good to touch base and I think he is well prepared for his test. He continues to gain confidence every time we meet and feels better about his performance in bio.

Tutoring review by Bruno in Carlstadt, NJ
During this session the student completed his homework on inequalities. He stated to have been having some issues with certain details, and we went over the process of how inequalities work. I provided him with a new way to create the inequality from a graph, which is by reading the graph from the sides to the center, identifying where the range is, and then whether it is '>' or '<.' After math, we went over the Spanish exercises I provided him previously. He had some issues answering them correctly, but I answered his questions and gave him some examples for how to proceed. We will review them again in our next session. He needs to continue to review and drill verbs in the Spanish/English table.

The student and I reviewed the data sufficiency strategy and did two DS problem sets together. I also reviewed yes/no data sufficiency with her. I assigned her DS I and II for homework. I also asked her to look at a test prep site to start strengthening some of her math skills and to memorize prime numbers. Next session, we will cover math toolbox skills and algebra strategies.
