I am passionate about helping students since I was in high school. When I see students coming up with their own study techniques, it inspires me. I believe that every student is different. The same strategy will not work for everyone. My goal is to influence the student enough to come up with their own technique. A teacher can only open the door to knowledge, but the student has to be intrigued enough to go through the door.

I am a graduate of City College of New York and University of Houston. I have my undergrad and first graduate degrees in Economics and my MBA from UH. I am excited to be a part of Varsity Tutors and bring my passion for teaching to those who may need a little help in understanding the concepts.

I am a teacher by vocational calling. I had been teaching for over 30 years at all levels from elementary to graduate education. I love to help students with their learning process. I am currently a senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering at the City College of New York. Here, I have strengthened my skills in Mathematics, as I have taken courses ranging from Calculus 1 to Numerical Methods.
