I have been in education for over 20 years. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in elementary education from IU Southeast and my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Louisville. I taught elementary school for 12 years and currently am a professor teaching reading methods courses to students studying education.
