Tutoring review by Joe in Clarksville, KY
This session was very similar to our last one. During this session, we went through the student's online work. The work was primarily concerned with the application of Simpson's rule, series, sums, and sequences. She is doing very well with the material.

Tutoring review by Timothy in Clarksville, KY
We covered reaction stoichiometry, balancing chemical equations, determining the limited reagent, and calculating the theoretical and experimental yield. The student quickly understood the concepts necessary to answer the questions. I'm sure within a week of practice she will know the material very well.

Tutoring review by Austin in Clarksville, KY
The student and I spent today studying for his final exam next week. We worked on chapter 2 and a little bit of chapter 3. It seems like he has a good grasp on the subjects of algebraic expressions, and the mistakes he made were largely mental errors rather than misunderstandings. He still has issues with writing out answers, and I have continued to encourage that. We will continue our review next session.

Tutoring review by Aamod in Clarksville, KY
The student needed help with physics and trigonometry. She was given the opportunity to retake an assessment in her physics class for extra credit, and she wanted some help looking over earlier problems so that she would know what to do for the reassessment. They are currently studying forces and inertial vs. noninertial reference frames. After she was confident with the physics material, we moved on to math. They have just begun studying conic sections, and her homework was all about circles. As we went over the worksheet, her ability to do problems on her own steadily improved. By the end, she was doing them without any help from me.

Tutoring review by Victoria in Clarksville, KY
We reviewed lines, slope, y-intercept, and how to plot points. We practiced calculating slope from both points and a graph, and determining the y intercept from a linear equation and x/y tables. The student did well with the more difficult material, but she actually struggled a bit more with some of the basics. We will need to continue reviewing adding/ subtracting negative numbers, simplifying fractions, and graphing points to prepare her for her exams and for future math courses. Overall the session went well, and I think she should make up the test on this material (chapter 2) this week. I would also like her to continue, if not finish, her assignment on "Ship of Dolls."

Tutoring review by John in Clarksville, KY
Today, we worked on solving systems of equations by graphing and substitution. Working with substitution was a new method for her, so it took a bit of getting used to solving for both x and y, but once she got used to it, she realized it was just a different way to solve the problems that she could already solve.
