I am an IDELT certified ESL teacher with several years of experience teaching all aspects of the English language, with an emphasis on writing and grammar. In addition to teaching English abroad in Santiago, Chile, and in the US, I am an advanced Spanish speaker. I have taught Spanish 1 at the high school level and lower level Spanish to children ages 4-12. I have more than 15 years experience mentoring and working with children of all ages.
My strengths are in English, particularly ESL and writing, but I have experience with a wide range of subjects. I am an author and contributor to a number of blogs, websites, and magazines.
I strive to cultivate a positive learning environment and keep my students motivated by tailoring classes to focus on their unique interests while continuously working towards their individual goals and needs.
