I'm a lifelong learner, a former English major and holder of a Social Work undergraduate degree, a former weather tech and instructor in the US Navy, a runner and a guitar player. I tutored high school students of widely varying backgrounds for my social work practicum, an experience I enjoyed very much. English is my strongest subject, but I enjoy applying critical thinking skills together with students in all areas -- both for academic readiness and for life.
