I am looking to return to school in the near future to pursue a masters in either teaching or genetic counseling.

I am enrolled in Calculus and Biochemistry this semester. In my spare time, I walk in the Arboretum, play video games and deal with my medical school applications.

I'm not tutoring, I love to sing, go bird watching, read, and cook. I also keep a collection of house plants!

I am very hands-on, have a great sense of humor, and am very patient. My method of teaching revolves around working through the problem with the student, and then having the student explain their answers to me by walking me through their thought process.

I am very passionate about helping students become the best they can be. I am not here to give all the answers, but rather to help students reach the answers themselves. My end goal is not to help students through one class, or one assignment, but to help them develop the tools they will use for the rest of their academic careers, and hopefully, the rest of their lives.
