I strive to one day see education thrive on benefiting students and be the "guide on the side" that traditional education rarely offered. My only goal is to not only see students succeed but know they were happy doing it. I am currently enrolled in the TeachHouston program so I can learn to be the best teacher there ever was!

I am a graduate student at the University of Houston in Cell and Molecular Biology track. I like to tutor and help students as it makes me a better teacher and learn more.

I believe that each and every person is capable of mastering any subject with the right guidance. A good tutor not only teaches students what they need to know for their classes, but she also teaches students how to think critically so that her students can effectively tackle questions in any subject area.

My teaching style is adaptable for every individual student. I like to have students approach material in creative ways in order to increase their retention of the material and make learning more engaging. I believe not only in helping with improving as a student, but also with improving as an inquisitive learner. Outside of tutoring, my hobbies include listening to music, playing the piano, and taking walks.
