Tutoring review by Michelle in Missouri City, TX
Today the student and I reviewed a lot of basic math concepts. We reviewed the rules for fractions, decimals, percents, ratios and proportions. We did several practice problems on the whiteboards and did quite a few word problems, like the problems the student will face on the assessment test. We also reviewed scientific notation and some radicals. I introduced the student to adding and subtracting radicals with the same values on the inside of the radical and multiplying and dividing radicals. Although we went over A LOT of material, I think the student is really absorbing all of what we do and she is really progressing. I think she will definitely be prepared for her test next week!
