I am a Latinx first-generation PhD candidate in Molecular and Translational Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. My current research is focused on links between diet and the lung microbiome. In addition to working in a lab, I deal with a lot of "big data" on a daily basis, so my current role involves a lot of molecular biology and biostatistics/bioinformatics.
