I'm Sakib, a graduate student at Rice, studying computational & applied mathematics. I have been tutoring ever since high school in a variety of subjects. I have been a Teaching Assistant for Calculus I & II, and Organic Chemistry I & II. I have also taught SAT for Kaplan for years and privately taught SAT, SAT Math/Chemistry as well as AP subject exams.

I am a retired PhD chemical engineer with a desire to give back via tutoring. I focus on chemistry and physics. I like to explain complicated ideas one time, again in another way, and finish with practical examples.
I am an undergraduate student at Rice University pursuing a B.A. in Neuroscience with minors in both Business and Biochemistry and Cell Biology. I also compete athletically at the NCAA Division 1 level as a member of Rice's Men's Cross Country and Men's Track and Field teams.
I'm tutor for the north Houston, Woodlands and Conroe area. I have a Master's degree from the University of Notre Dame where I also completed enough training sessions and coursework to get a certificate in education methods. I have quite a bit of experience tutoring Spanish, French, and Latin, but am happy to help in areas of history, English reading/writing, and some math as well. I have also been a math tutor in the north Houston area for high school students who need help understanding concepts.
I am a BS/MD program student and President's Endowed Scholar at Texas A&M University studying neuroscience/biology and English. I enjoy helping my students with the SAT and ACT, English grammar, literature, writing, and AP subjects, especially in the sciences. Please feel free to message me for more info or to schedule a session. Thank you!
I am working towards my Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Duquesne University. While focusing on the humanities in my college education, I have always had a secret love for math. In addition to my tutoring experience, I have also worked as a private tutor for homeschooling children. Although I am capable of tutoring a variety of subjects, I am especially adept at Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II. My teaching philosophy rests on the conviction that students should be trained how to think critically on their own and how to approach problems rather than merely being fed information by their teachers/tutors. I work diligently to ensure that my students' academic capabilities are consistently increasing. My hobbies include chess, drinking coffee, reading, and listening to music.
I am a third year student at Texas A&M University. I am pursuing a bachelor of science in physics and a minor in Spanish. Since high school, I have experience tutoring students in math, more specifically at middle school and high school level. Also, I have experience with AP, SAT, and ACT standardized exams. I am so passionate about education and I hope I can help others succeed!
I am a Junior at Clemson University where I am an Honors Student, Dixon Global Policy Scholar and a member of the Clemson British Parliamentary Debate Team. As a junior in high school, I was a math tutor for Algebra I through a school sponsored program. I was assigned 2-3 students that I worked with three times a week throughout the year. My students improved from failing students to B students. I focused not only on helping them understand the material, but also on how to budget their time and how to study. I look forward to working with your child.
I am willing to tutor subjects such as Chemistry, Math, Writing, and any IB class/topics.
I am a have a Master's degree in Biology at Sam Houston State University. I have a strong background in STEM from my undergraduate studies in biochemistry and molecular biology. I have experience teaching several lab courses, and experience tutoring my younger brother through high school. I've been tutoring with Varsity for about 2 years.
I'm the science geek all grown up. I teach science and technology classes full-time and tutor when time permits. Biology, chemistry, Arduino, Python, Raspberry Pi, Java are my primary interests, but I also dabble in web design. I enjoy teaching, helping students figure the solution to challenging questions.
I am passionate about learning and empowering students through helping them reach their educational goals. I graduated at the top of my class with a 4.0 from Texas State University's Honors college in International Relations and Business Administration and currently live in Australia exploring the other side of the world! I am a State-qualified Debate and DECA competitor. I was raised in France and Germany in a very multicultural home and learned English at a British school in France. I use an engaging teaching style and opt towards real world applications for clarifying concepts and helping stymie learning. I incorporate humor and creativity into my classes to help students enjoy learning with me and provide a unique and worthwhile experience.
