My name is Amie and I live in Arizona. I have five years of ESL teaching experience with young learners and adults. I hold a BSW in Social work, a 150 hour TEFL, and a 120 TESOL. I believe students should have fun while learning.

I think these subjects are a unique challenge to teach because students only develop the necessary skill if they are able critically think through the problems at hand. I thus do my best to guide my students thinking processes, rather than tell them the answers. I spend most of my free time playing and listening to music. I believe that every student can learn through their individualized learning styles and techniques they learn. Having children that have had difficulties learning the way things were taught in their classes, I learned new ways to teach them concepts in a way that they make a connection and open their minds to new concepts and new things.

After graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Mathematics I came to a startling realization. I really like math.
