I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, with both a BA in English and a MA in Humanities, in the areas of Writing, Literature and History. I've taught at several universities overseas and in the United States. I've primarily taught Composition and Literature at the university level and have also taught English in High Schools and Middle Schools in the US, in Texas. For two years I taught English to Chinese students on an online platform, so I'm used to delivering course work in that format. I enjoy teaching Writing and helping students to prepare for their future academic careers by giving them a tool they can use for future essays, and exams. I've had a number of students return and thank me for helping them to be better prepared for their academic courses, allowing them to make better grades and be more confident in their abilities. Learning is something that never stops, we learn while in school, but we'll continue to learn about people and cultures around us as we interact with the world.

I'm a masters student studying Linguistics at the University of Texas in Arlington. My research areas are primarily in Syntax and Psycholinguistics, investigating language at a very fundamental level.My undergraduate degree was in the same field, and was received from the same institution.In my time as a Linguistics undergrad, I worked with students as an Arabic tutor, helping them to better grasp grammatical concepts at the college level.Fundamentally, I believe that students are smart enough to grasp any concept, no matter how difficult. Oftentimes, teachers are unable or unwilling to craft explanations that best fit the mental framework of a student. I am a current high school Digital Filmmaking and Commercial Photography teacher with over a decade of teaching experience, including at the college level. I have a passion for working with students of all backgrounds, skill sets, and learning styles to reach their full potential. The overwhelming majority of the classes I teach are in visual communications such as digital filmmaking, and commercial photography, and graphic design.

I am a full-time engineering student and flight instructor (private, commercial, and instrument students). I chose the Aviation industry because the opportunity to learn never stops. Hi! I am Srujana Gattupalli. I am currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon. I work in the field of computer science and machine learning. As a graduate student during my PhD, I have had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for introductory computer science courses, and I have also tutored students taking classes in various areas, including programming, algorithms, and research topics. Both as a teaching assistant and as a tutor, I naturally worked mainly with students who had difficulties following the course.I have been a tutor in the past and I would love to tutor for any computer skills, programming language or tutor math/ statistics.

I graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a BA in Sociology/Social Work option. I have spent many years working with kids in various capacities including Day Care Director at a drop in facility and most recently teaching at Duncanville Independent School District and Lonestar Online Academy at Roscoe. The majority of my teaching has been 2nd grade, but I also have experience teaching Kindergarten. I really enjoy tutoring my students in both Math and Reading and watching them grow both academically and socially as they grow in confidence. My love for children is real and kids sense this which enables me to get the best out of my students who truly want to perform at their optimal best. In addition to teaching I enjoy spending time with my kids and grandkids as well as traveling around the great state of Texas. I also love reading and listening to live music.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor Classical Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington, and after teaching high school English for three years, I earned a Master of Arts in English from the University of Dallas. During and after earning my MA, I tutored in a community college writing center and taught credit and non-credit college English classes. I recently returned from South Korea, where I taught ESL classes to a wide range of students, elementary-aged to adult. I have experience teaching in both classroom and private settings, and I delight in helping students reach their goals and find their voices in order to better express themselves in both speaking and writing.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas in Interdisciplinary and soon followed that with a Masters degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Curriculum and Instruction. I am certified in early childhood through 6th grade teaching as well as an English as a second language instructor. I currently teach prekindergarten for the Arlington ISD however, prior to my prekindergarten position I was an English as a second language intervention teacher for Advantage Academy in Grand Prairie, assisting students from kindergarten through middle school. I have also worked with middle school students as an English as a second language education aide. As and ESL interventionist and ESL education aide, I was able to assist students with understanding instruction in their classrooms as well as provide strategies for teachers for ESL instruction. Even the majority of my prekindergarten students are ESL students and for that reason, I continually use music, songs, and visuals to assist in my instruction as well as fun games to help with learning. I love to teach reading and writing as these are subjects areas necessary for all other subject areas but I have also developed a love of math. I have a son that is ADHD and never felt he got the quality of education he should have and that is one reason I went back to school to become a teacher. I am passionate about doing as much as possible for all of my students, to help them achieve academic success.
