I'm a passionate explorer, educator, and scientist. I am a Planetary Science Researcher (PhD, 2008). I write grants to NASA to use spacecraft data to study the composition and evolution of rocky planetary bodies (Moon, Mercury, asteroids). I am a percussionist, where i mostly play rack instruments for concert band and bass drum for marching band. I have been on the Sandra Day OConnor HS Drumline, Pinnacle Percussion Winter Drumline, And ASU Drumline. I like to hang out with my friends in my spare time, and spend a lot of the summer out at the lake riding my Jet ski! I look forward to working with you!

I am always in the search for knowledge; I love learning new things and I love sharing that which I have learned. I believe there is power in the ability to speak a second or even a third language, and in the same way that I would like to learn more languages I believe it is only fair to help others learn them as well.

I am a firm believer that practice makes perfect and that my students and I are a team and if they aren't doing well, then neither am I.

I am very passionate about what I do. Teaching was a natural career path for me and I love growing with my students each day. In 2013, I was very honored to receive the "Teacher of the Year Award" from Office Max. I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelors in Education in 2009. I went on to Grand Canyon University and received my Masters in Education and Reading.
