I am a lifelong learner and love teaching others to love learning. I am a 2012 alum of the University of Virginia, and a 2012 Teach for America Corps member. I taught 8th grade Language Arts for 5 years in Houston, Texas, before moving to Saint Louis, Missouri, where I am currently teaching 5th grade language arts and social studies.

I love teaching Spanish! I have two sons in their early twenties. I am one of eight children. My mother was born and raised in Mexico, and my dad's parents were from Spain. That's how I learned how to speak Spanish. I also love teaching reading and writing!
