I am a recent medical school graduate. I have many years of experience tutoring though out undergrad and Medical school. I love tutoring chemistry, biochemistry, math, and biology. I tend to use more of a conceptual approach to learning rather than rote memorization. I am in my 6th year of professional, full-time teaching and have a passion for helping others academically! Education is a major key to success so that students may critically think, problem solve, and learn how to be independent learners. I make it my goal to show students just how what they're learning does relate to real life, by pulling on what they already know, and building on top of that.

I am a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and University of Illinois at Chicago. I received my Doctor of Pharmacy and also Master of Public Health. Additionally, I completed my residency training at Midwestern University. I am board certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS).

I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and very active in numerous volunteer activities.

I am a certified elementary teacher with four years of teaching experience, which includes one year of online instruction. I have tutored kindergarten through sixth grade and previously worked as a private nanny and piano teacher. I am an expert at differentiating instruction for students with various learning needs. I love teaching because I enjoy watching kids learn and grow!
