Trigonometry Tutoring review by Antonio in Worcester, MA
We covered adding and multiplying monomials again. Her attitude is still genuine. I left her with many practice questions so that she can study for her test.

We worked on adding and subtracting fractions and converting back and forth between mixed numbers and improper fractions. She can do all the steps and knows what she's doing.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Connor in Worcester, MA
For this session, we continued on with practicing numerical bases by engaging in addition and subtraction with non-base ten numbers. The student picked up all of the techniques by the end of the meeting. I thoroughly enjoy working with her because she genuinely wants to achieve success in mastering this concept in math. To add and subtract non-base ten numbers, we worked on modifying standard addition and subtraction such that every maneuver is done in relation to the base in question (like base 4) and not in relation to multiples of ten. For practice, I recommended skimming through the homework again just to solidify these techniques. Based on my observations, I think she has achieved considerable progress in her understanding of the material. Thanks.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Adam in Worcester, MA
We reviewed the unit circle and talked about ways to recreate it from memory for tests, covering the degrees, radians and plot points for cosine and sine. Additionally we covered where sine, cosine and tangent, and their related inverse functions, would be positive or negative. The student showed me a test on which she received a high B, and we went over areas that she had missed to prevent future similar mistakes from being made. We then moved to Spanish and covered when and why one would use the subjunctive tense, including areas of adverbial clauses, subject changes and the indicator "que." She has a quiz in each subject coming up soon and I look forward to her results.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Teresa in Worcester, MA
The student and I worked both on her trig concepts and on writing. She was doing the law of sines in class, so we went over her homework, as well as did practice problems to further work on the concepts. We also went over The Crucible, which she is reading in class. We also talked about the AP language & writing section.

Trigonometry Tutoring review by Justin in Worcester, MA
The student and I prepared her for her quiz that she has coming up covering converting degrees to radians outside the unit circle, finding the six trig values of an angle, and finding coterminal angles. We went through a practice worksheet that she had and it seemed she understood the material and said she will continue to look over the material before her quiz. She got all the right answers on the worksheet and just needs to build some confidence in solving for the six trig values.
