I'm currently a graduate student at Boston University getting my master's in Mathematics Secondary Education. I did my undergrad at West Virginia University, where I majored in History and minored in German and Math.

I am a perpetually curious student at Harvard College studying Economics and Neurobiology. Since junior high, I have been a tutor, and I am comfortable whether the subject is English, calculus, or biology. I believe knowledge is most useful when you're able to integrate it into your everyday life. To that end, I would seek to learn from you and listen to your interests, and then find ways to show the hidden connections between the subject under study and your everyday life.

I am a Spanish Master's Graduate student who has taught Spanish to Auburn University students in my second year of the program as an instructor of record. I taught classes of 20-30 students diligently, making sure they were ready to continue their Spanish major/ minor in college.

I am happy to work with students on all manner of writing and reading comprehension needs. This includes preparation for placement tests as well as less formal work to simply gain skills and (hopefully!) imbue a love and respect for the language arts in the process. I have a B.A. in English from U.C. Berkeley, but also have advanced degrees in International Museum Studies and Forced Migration. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Geography.

During our sessions, we will brainstorm essay ideas, fine-tune word choice/tone/voice, and tailor essays to specific schools.
