Teaching and singing are my passions; training and coaching public speakers and performing artists my expertise. I grew up with a musician and a frequent public speaker for parents, ending up with strong talents in both. I enjoy telling people, "I majored in talking and enjoy a career as a vocalist, which is basically talking with notes and rhythms attached!" Studying communication gave me a solid foundation for engaging with and listening to the (often unspoken) needs of others. I get great joy from helping others reach their goals and overcome their presentation fears which often block their success. I believe every person has the capacity to learn and grow skills at any pinnacle of life. My philosophy includes the strong belief that gentle honesty is the kindest offering to be given to anyone, particular to persons putting themselves up for public scrutiny or digest as performing artists or public speakers. My motto is "I'm here to believe in you and help you improve.

I graduated from Rutgers University, New Brunswick NJ in 2009 with a BA in Psychology and Biological Sciences. I completed my medical education in December 2014 and will receive my Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree from Ross University in March 2015. I have tutored multiple subjects from High School to Medical School. I tutor Psychology, Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, Algebra, Geometry, among other subject. My favorite subject to tutor are in the science and math fields. I cater my tutoring style to each individual student. Every student is different and learn material differently so as a tutor I must find what works best to teach my students. I believe it is important to stress teaching concepts so that the student is able to learn the material and be confident enough to solve any problem. I also teach proper note taking skills and study methods that can be implemented outside of the classrooms to help maximize learning. One of my biggest motivations for becoming a doctor is my immense desire to help people. Whether I am teaching, listening, problem solving, or just lending a hand, helping others is what I find to be most enjoyable. I believe that helping others gives me a different perspective on life. Since a very young age, I was taught to never deny help to anyone for any reason. I have lived by this ideal my entire life and I will continue to do so throughout my medical career. A number of life events, personal experiences and mission work in different countries solidified my desire to be come a physician.

I love music and science. I earned my master's degree in Biology from Kasetsart, one of Thailand's foremost universities. I learned to play piano from a young age, and piano has been my passion ever since. We didn't have a piano in our home so I would practice in a church building or go over to a friend's home and learn from them at every opportunity. Eventually, I was able to prove myself and, through the support of others, got a piano and formal training from an accredited institution, eventually studying with the head music department of a leading university.I was able to give back and started teaching others. I have taught over 25 piano students each week both at home and at a music school in Bangkok. I sent many of them for the piano examination (Trinity Guildhall) and they passed their tests. Depending on the work they put through some will pass with honor, merit, or passed. This is how I was able to support myself while I continued my studies at university.I have been teaching now for 19 years. I understand how to help students find that piano is so simple and easy to learn through bite-sized lessons. When I teach, I learn more about my students, and what interests them, so I can tailor lessons to ignite their interests. When the students are very young, parental support is needed.I continue my studies in both music and science to this day. Continuing study helps find new ideas and techniques to help students thrive in their learning. Continuing to study helps me stay in touch with being a student. I found entertainment in discovering new perspectives and reviewing the principles. I am a proponent of continuing education. I strongly believe that it helps improve the quality of life and society. I try to share that with all of my students. In my spare time, I hike, do weights, and swim with my workout buddies.

I am currently a senior at Michigan State University majoring in Child Development. I am passionate about working with both children and adults and have been doing so for about eight years, working with children of various age groups. I enjoy both expanding and sharing my knowledge with others, a factor that was very important in helping me to decide to tutor. Subjects that I tutor include Pre-Algebra, Elementary School Math and Reading, Middle School Reading and Writing and English as a Second Language. I am passionate about all of these subjects, although Pre-Algebra and Elementary School Math are my favorite to teach. My teaching philosophy include the beliefs that students should be allowed to learn at their own pace and in the ways that allow them to be confident and motivated in what they are learning. Additionally, engaging materials should be provided to increase understanding of the content that is being taught, and having discussions is a way to assess what the student has learned. My hobbies include traveling and trying new foods, painting and making various crafts, calligraphy, cooking and watching sports.
