About Me

I am an undergraduate student at Boston University. I am pursuing a double major in Physics and Finance with a concentration in business law. I have been tutoring since my Sophomore year of high school and have even traveled to facilitate mock United Nations committees at the National High School (NHSMUN). During NHSMUN, 5000 international students attended as delegates to debate on research that directors such as myself write for the committee. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about History and Math. In my experience, students and I tend to have to most fun preparing for history by turning events into stories that seem a lot more interesting and thus rememberable. As for math, I like to give my struggling students the confidence to admit what they know and do not understand and tackling subjects from a grassroots level up. I think understanding the "why" behind everything makes learning a lot easier, and my Physics background gives me an analytical thought process that allows me to tackle the "why" from multiple perspectives, allowing me to thoroughly explain concepts to students. I think learning is extremely important, and adding a level of intellectual stimulation into daily life adds an unquantifiable quality of life. I have lots of experience working with kids. I used to teach kids between the age of about a year to young adults in their 20s how to swim with my three years of experience as a lifeguard at a Summer camp. This includes working extensively with special needs kids. In my spare time, I enjoy working out and watching sports.
