After attending Rice University in Houston, I taught chemistry in Los Angeles, moved back to Houston and taught chemistry, algebra 1, algebra 2, and geometry to high school students. At Rice I was pre-med for a while before I decided to become a teacher and major in psychology. In Los Angeles I earned a Masters in Urban Education and credential in science education. I taught SAT math to 9th, 10th, and 11th graders here in Houston.
