Memorizing formulas and facts is good for short-term learning, but to truly understand a concept it is necessary to stimulate our minds to see patterns and connections.

I am a sophomore at Stony Brook University studying biology and on the pre-med track. I've always been very passionate when it comes to helping people! I have no problem accommodating or tailoring my methods to one's needs in order for them to gain confidence in the material they need to succeed.
