Physics Tutoring review by Gabriel in Montgomery, IL
Covered: Rotational Motion: Rotational equilibrium, translational vs rotational equilibrium, torque. Struggling with: Set up of a problem with translational and rotational equilibrium. With some explanation she was able to get a handle on it. Concerns: The student did a great job understanding explanations for problems she had some trouble with. I would like her to write down the equations she is using before she starts working the problem to prevent any number mix ups.

Physics Tutoring review by Amelia in Montgomery, IL
The student has a test this coming week and in preparation we reviewed questions and worksheets given to her by her teacher. In particular we focused on the conservation of energy, work, and forces. She seemed to grasp most of the concepts very well. She initially struggled with using the proper signs (positive vs. negative) and being able to transition between equations. Once we reviewed the principles behind these things she no longer struggled. Overall she did very well and I expect her to do well on her test which we will review next week.
