Teachers have made a huge impact on my life and I love helping others in the same way. I am extremely down to earth in my teaching approach and want to give the most practical useful advice to get the most immediate results.

I have a passion for teaching students how to think well, write clearly, and present their ideas and thoughts in an intelligent, persuasive manner. I have a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Missouri and an M.A. in philosophy from Biola University.

My name is Carolyn. I have taught middle school, high school, and tutored freshmen in college in math. I have always loved working with students to help them improve their thinking skill and help them be successful in their classes. Working one on one is the most enjoyable part.

I recently graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Journalism with a minor in Phronesis. I've tutored children from K-12 when I was in High School. I strongly believe that the most important part of teaching any subject is making sure that the child has a strong understanding of the fundamental ideas presented in the subject, without a strong foundation the house is faulty.
