I am a tutor in math and computer science subjects. I think that every student has the potential to be good at math, but many have lost confidence somewhere along the way. My goal is to help students find that confidence again. I have a Master's degree in Math and a Bachelor's degree in Math and Computer Science. I have tutored for several years at the college level in both math and CS, with some classroom experience as well. I have also done some tutoring with middle - high school aged students. I have recently completed my Ph.D, specializing in computational modeling of plasma physics, and I have earned an M.A. in Physics and a B.S. in Physics with minors in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. I was a College Physics lab instructor and learning assistant while working on my undergraduate studies, and I was lucky to be able to continue teaching and tutoring during my master's degree. My name is Elizabeth Brown. I am currently a Master's student studying Computational Linguistics with the goal of pursuing my PhD in the same field. My undergraduate degree was in History, French, and International Business. While completing my undergraduate degree, I studied abroad in France for a semester. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on pre-1700 colonial American history. I would love to someday combine my passions for languages and history. After completing my undergraduate degree, I moved to South Korea and taught English as a foreign language to elementary and middle school students for two years where I gained lots of experience working with students both one-on-one and in large classrooms on improving all aspects of their English language abilities.

As a former public school educator and current 4th year medical student, I thoroughly enjoy both the practices of mentoring students and helping them succeed in their studies. My name is Simar Goyal and I am going to be a Junior at Baylor University. I am a University Scholars major with concentrations in biology, medical humanities, and public health. I was a National Merit Finalist with my PSAT scores and scored in high percentiles for all standardized tests.I have tutored various grades from elementary school to high school. In college, I have also taken a pedagogy class, which taught me the science and art of teaching. I have been a registered nurse since 2009. I graduated from Baylor University with my BSN and graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with my MSN Nursing Education in 2020. I have a lot of experience with patient care, test anxiety, writing nursing exam questions, and advice on how to dissect and perform well on nursing school, licensing, and certification exams. My patient care experience helps as an instructor because I love bringing real life examples to nursing concepts. I enjoy teaching immensely, particularly on nursing topics. That is not something I thought I would say when I was going through nursing school!
