Hello! My name is Sarah Ufearo and I am a Neuroscience and Behavior major at Columbia University. Although my major is centered in the STEM field, I am also passionate about human rights work, global engagement, and local outreach. While my future plans are subject to change, I see myself continuing in academia, going to medical school, and becoming a physician.

As a tutor, I am dedicated to enhancing student comprehension by focusing on thought processes as well as the answer itself, ensuring that students follow a logical step-by-step progression when solving problems and maximizing their understanding of the topics at hand. I have experience tutoring at the high school and collegiate level through student organizations, university employment, and personal offerings.

Aside from being an avid scholar, I am a world traveler and enjoy trying new things! I also love to run, draw, read, and cook, either with friends or simply by myself.
