I am a concentrator in the History of Science which involves the study of the development of knowledge. It is amazing to see how systems and thought evolve. History of Science has been amazing in changing my consideration of what is science and who gets a chance to live in our world which inspired my change to the non-medical path of history of science towards public health.

I am an 8th grade Language Arts teacher with a passion for reading and writing. I love the way reading a novel can pick you up and bring you anywhere. Someplace magical, someplace mysterious. Writing is an outlet used for expression and can be very therapeutic. Finding your creativity is a fun way to get to know yourself better.

I am there to help them learn and to support them as their largest cheerleader. Establishing that helps grow success later on.

I am married and have three beautiful daughters. I graduated with a Bachelor in Math Education in 2000 and a Masters in Math in 2003 from Fairfield University. I have been teaching high school for over 20 years. The subjects I have taught ranged from elementary math to Trigonometry. I love to help children learn math and succeed in math.

I am a former student/athlete of a top academic university in New York and have been accepted to medical school for the class of 2025. I have worked with Kumon and Mathnasium in the past which has given me plenty of experience tutoring and teaching math and various sciences to elementary through college students. I am very experienced in working with children and teens and motivating them to succeed at schoolwork and writing (without doing the work for them!). As a marketing manager for a major publisher of children's content, my job requires me to tackle writing projects every day with the aim of really getting the message across.
