Tutoring review by Santiago in Bronxville, NY
We went over problems involving radicals expressions and equations. The student knew how to approach the majority of the problems, but forgot to check her results with some of the more complicated problems. We also went over simplifying radical expression of higher degree than two. She does good applying the power rules to simple problems, but needs practice for the one that require more than one rule to simplify.

Tutoring review by Roozbeh in Bronxville, NY
We went through her homework for algebra and trigonometry. We covered sins law and solved several questions on then. Then we went through her chemistry class notes. It was about K, Kp and Kc. I explained how she has to do them and how to use the equation to find the rate and also the units at the end. She understood. We also went through the exam that she failed which she can retake it. I explained some of the questions as well. I asked her to try to do them by herself again and I will check them next time.

Tutoring review by John in Bronxville, NY
The student and I reviewed four or five worksheets on simple motion problems. For the most part, she is able to do these (or has already done them) correctly. I emphasized dimensional analysis. We went over all the basic position, velocity, etc. graphs, and I finished with an introduction to her next topic, acceleration. I reviewed the session with her father. I think this student so far has a fairly sound knowledge of the material that has been covered in her class.

Tutoring review by Gray in Bronxville, NY
We spent most of this session ironing out math issues. The student should walk away with a list of her most common mistakes and have them viewable at a glance. Her writing score was nearly perfect - only two mistakes on her entire writing section! This translates to close to a perfect score on writing, so we're calling that good for now. Reading has improvements to be made, particularly in historical document reading & markup. I've provided her with a bunch of practice tests with passages to practice on, and assigned her more practice tests to do. She's in great spirits and very close to being ready, just a couple of spots to iron out!
