We covered angle relationship, complementary and supplementary angles, linear Pairs, textbook questions. The student told me she struggled with, always, sometime and never questions, but she did good when we went over some practice problems. She had a great attitude. I didn't leave her with any materials.

We covered angle relationships inside a polygon (how the interior sum of a shape compares to individual, unknown angles) and using theorems to discover angle pairs in a transversal. The student didn't struggle with any concept. He was pushed back by a big figure of multiple transversals, but he was able to understand the diagram very well. He was very enthusiastic and motivated to work on the material together. He was determined to achieve various solutions. I included a way to determine the interior angle sum of a polygon (used a formula and gave examples to form the formula). I did not leave him with any extra practice, but he does have more problems he can practice from his textbook. This session was a big win. He feels very confident for tomorrow's test, especially since a "lightbulb was lit" for multiple concepts. He seemed to really understand the material and displayed his knowledge vividly.

We covered angular and linear proofs and theorems. The student struggled to visualize what the theorems stated, but after I helped him visualize it he understood it better. The student was excited to learn. I gave him any study strategies that I would use myself. I did not leave him with any extra practice because it was just a review.

We covered both geometry and biology. Labeling of angles and parsing questions correctly were the only issues the student had for geometry. The sense I got was that the low degree of complexity was confusing her more than the material (her attempted answers always made the question more intricate), but that the clarifications really helped. We covered and expanded on previous work done on enzymes and reactions in biology and the progress from last session was marked.

We covered chapter 4, section 1 because the student missed school and this is most likely the section they covered in class. We then did the cumulative chapter 1 to 4 review to review all the concepts he learned in the previous sections and to refresh the concepts in chapter 4 that we went over during the summer. We finished the session with an algebra review on the quadratic equation. The student remembers all the main concepts from chapter 4. He still needs to continue practicing showing his work when completing problems. This will decrease the amount of silly algebraic mistakes he has while solving problems.

We covered concepts in finding angles of triangles, using many of the various angle relationships we have used in the past, and applying them to many different scenarios. We covered how to find angles of angle relationships that are described by mathematical expressions and more. The student needed help with the quantitative relationship found in a supplementary angle system, but when I challenged her to use what she already knows to find the solution, she quickly caught on. There is a test coming up, so we are preparing for that.
