About Me

I am a graduate of Michigan State University with a Masters in Mathematics. In my 28 years of teaching, I have taught Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, DC College Algebra and College Finite. In addition, I have taught part-time at Ivy Tech Community College teaching College Algebra, Quantitative Reasoning, and Finite Math. Helping students become more confident in their skills by understanding the "why" of mathematics is my joy. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, cross-stitch, and fishing every chance I get.
