Some individuals are also interested in learning French to get ahead in their French class, whether they are learning at the elementary or high school level. Learning French can even help you apply for study abroad programs in college or increase your chances of working in the international job market. Buffalo French tutoring is designed with the needs of students in mind. You or your student's private educator is skilled when it comes to teaching the various areas of the French Language. Some of your private teacher's skills may include teaching French vocabulary, explaining French pronunciation, and educating students about French history and culture. Not only can a French educator teach students about these topics, but they also know how to teach students of various learning styles or skill levels. Perhaps you are a beginner who wants to learn French, who also learns best through visuals. A private French instructor can pick up on your visual learning needs and design lesson plans tailored to your preferences. An instructor can create flashcards or pictures to help you learn French vocabulary. On the other hand, maybe you or your student is an audible learner. Your instructor can create customized study sessions that involve verbal communication and repetitive oral exercises to offer the tools you or your student may be looking for.

Traditional classroom learning is not for everyone. If you or your student is trying to learn French at school, this may not be the best approach to learning a foreign language. Studying French isn't easy, especially if you are having a hard time keeping up with classroom lessons. A traditional classroom does not conform to an individual's needs. If you are struggling to keep up with your French class, a Buffalo French tutor can work with you to tackle the topics that are causing you to fall behind. Maybe conjugating verbs in French is a difficult topic for you to grasp. If this is the case, your private instructor can spend as much time as needed during your sessions to work on conjugation. Instead, get the focused and individualized help you are looking for by signing up for a session right away.

French Tutoring review by Jasmine in Buffalo, NY
We practiced colors (ROYGBIV) and Numbers 1-10. We practiced all of the greetings that we learned at our first session. We will continue to practice these at every encounter to help them master the basic forms of conversation and sentence conversion. We started learning numbers 11-20 today! We also read our storybooks in English and in French. Again, I had them repeat the French lines as well as point to things in the picture that they can identify which were predominantly colors to reiterate what they have most recently learned . We also did a few pages in their workbooks which covered greetings and numbers as well. We finished the lesson by starting our personalized notebooks! I bought a different color notebook for each girl to glue things in that they learn or do during our lessons. They were really excited to cut things out and glue them into their books.

French Tutoring review by Jessica in Buffalo, NY
The student is doing excellent with his French! He is far ahead in his class right now as we continue to review old topics and learn new ones. He is learning the verbs etre and avoir in class this week, however we have already gone over those two before, so we reviewed them so that he would be ready in class this week. We then went over other main verbs that he should be learning in class soon. I had him say the alphabet just for a review and it was just about perfect and then he showed me the computer practice games that his teacher gives him and the other students to do. I am very impressed with his progress; he is very intelligent and has picked up on the language very, very quickly.

French Tutoring review by Dylan in Buffalo, NY
Today we used the language of work in the arts and of the park to explore passe compose, present de l'indicatif, and l'imparfait. We also sussed out the differences indirect and direct object pronouns and words of possession. We used an oral/ aural model this week, whereby the student writes sentences as he hears me say them, and we discover new material and work on current material in correcting the written sentences. Next week we will continue using this model and delve more deeply into pronouns, including "y" and "en."

French Tutoring review by Alyson in Buffalo, NY
The student and I will work a lot on vocabulary and flow of conversation. In our first meeting, I had him read aloud a list of French expressions so that I could hear his pronunciation and also get an idea of how well he could read French as a whole. I'm pleased to know that he has a nice foundation upon which we'll build his grammar and vocabulary to newer and more complex heights. Throughout our lessons I hope to see a marked improvement in his pronunciation simply through practice and a little exploration of phonetics together. I think our future sessions will be both productive and fun, and I look forward to when we will speak only in French with each other as I feel he will be very capable of doing so not too long from now.
