What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

The introductions, though brief, will be very important, as I use them to talk about my professional experience since this will increase the client's confidence in me. Then, I will request the student to tell the last topic covered. A number of oral questions on the topic covered will provide a clear picture of students problems.
