As a recent graduate and full time engineer, I understand I never could have gotten where I am without the study skills I learned in high school math and physics courses. As a tutor I want to help students learn the subjects that have helped me succeed so they can do the same.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University, I signed a 2-year commitment with Teach for America. I currently teach 8th grade Mathematics in my hometown of Houston, Texas. I love learning and am qualified to teach any core subject (Math, Science, English/Language Arts/Writing, Social Studies). I have also taken (and scored highly on) several AP exams.

I am a current Mechanical Engineering and Plan II Honors double major at The University of Texas at Austin. I have lots of volunteer experience including being a camp counselor for teenagers with disabilities. As someone who has gone through the college application process and has an appreciation for how difficult it is, I am ready to help students learn and show what they are capable of.
