As a passionate educator with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from New Mexico State University, I bring a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to my tutoring in AP Environmental Science, AP Psychology, and U.S. Government & Politics. My 28 years working in Washington DC as a federal employee as a risk communicator and senior policy official in nuclear weapon health and safety have honed my ability to engage with the public and students effectively, fostering a supportive and interactive learning environment. I prioritize empathy and real-world relevance working as a public servant in my teaching, believing that understanding complex subjects requires open dialogue and practical examples.
