I am a recent graduate from Northland College in Wisconsin and have moved back to my hometown of Edmonds where I intend to pursue a career in teaching. I am an EWHS class of 2015 alum and I participated in both IB and Running Start courses during my time as a student in Edmonds. My love for my chemistry, biology, and mathematics courses throughout high school influenced me to pursue a Bachelors of Science at Northland College. In December 2018, I graduated early from Northland with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Biology with a minor in physics. Also while in college, I began working as a research assistant gaining practical experience in the laboratory and as a tutor for chemistry, biology, and math. During my time as a tutor, I realized how much I enjoyed helping students not only learn about the sciences but begin to think that they are fascinating and cool subjects. My passion for helping others learn and enjoy math and science has driven me to pursue a career in education where I can help students not only exceed in their coursework but enjoy learning.
