The student was struggling the most with terminology; she knows the concepts, but she wasn't sure of them by name (vertex, x,y-intercepts, quadratic formula). Once we reviewed them several times, while solving problems, she got the hang of it. I included a general strategy for ease of use of the quadratic formula. She has to complete the calculation for the final problem we worked on.
